The common believe in buying and selling links is that Google will penalize participating sites – both the buyer and the seller – sooner or latter. How to reduce the risk of getting penalized by Google for buying and selling links?

Nobody can guarantee anything when it comes to Google. Understanding Google algorithms are almost like mastering alchemy in creating magic potions – you can get a hold of the basics on how Google ranks your site, but you just can’t guarantee that understand the basics will give you the exact results.

The best all of us can do is to comply with Google’s rules if you want to avoid your sites getting penalized by Google.

Now, back to the main topic – we all know that buying and selling links (dofollow links) are against Google TOS. If you do it, you are exposing yourself to Google’s penalty, which can results in deindexing of your sites.

Here’s the critical question: If buying and selling links are prohibited, how can those big websites doing buying and selling links are still ranking high in Google and have high PageRank?

The answer lies in the Google algorithms themselves.

The logic in buying and selling links is that Google doesn’t know (yet) whether a site is really buying or selling links. If you own a blog, listing useful links on your Blogroll can make Google misunderstands your site, accusing your sites for doing buying and selling links.

One way to avoid the above is by adding ‘nofollow’ attribute to links. However, having purchased links nofollowed won’t give any sites visible value in Google ranking (for traffic – yes; for search engine ranking – no.)

But there’s a way: What if you locate the links in such a way that Google thinks they are natural links?

The best practice for this is to place the dofollow text link ads in between words, in a related sentence. Do allow a minimum of 3 words before and after the anchor text.

TechCrunch has the money; it also has the authority; it has humongous numbers of backlinks – both in quality and quantity. How to compete with it?

Google says that the best way to get ranked high in search engine result pages is by creating quality content that attracts backlink from other sites referring to the content.

Right. Now suppose I can create top-notch content that is even better than those in TechCrunch, will my article page rank higher than those of TechCrunch? No.

Again, TechCrunch shouts authority. MyOneAndOnlyTechBlogThatContainsQualityContent.com is not (yet) – and to compete with TechCrunch, we have 2 choices:

1. Secure million of dollars in venture capital money
2. Go blackhat

Let’s be honest here – we need time and money to compete with the big guys in search engine result pages; unfortunately, not many of us have plenty of either or both.

Google is slapping web directories and affiliate sites

There goes the glorious days of web directories and affiliate sites.

Google slaps web directories – reducing their value and ranking in the process, and eventually reducing web directory owners’ income in such a way that they need to find other ways to make a living. Web directory submissions are also no longer effective, making link building a more challenging task. Article directory submissions? Expect the same in the near future.

The same story goes for affiliate sites – Google slaps sites containing affiliate links – if those links are not there, how on earth affiliate marketers can make money? The consequence: Landing pages are no longer effective; this equals less money for Internet marketers.

There always be ways to comply with Google. But Google fed many of us up – it’s another reason for some of us to go blackhat.

Many left Google – for good.

For those who are honest and are not willing to go blackhat, they left Google, even abandoned make money online/online business/internet marketing arena.

The resilient website owners are pushed to be creative. They left Google for PPV (pay per view) strategy implementation; they forget SEO/link building and start focusing on getting web traffic, and focusing on the traffic strategy to build a business and make a living.

The big question: Should I do blackhat?

I can’t help you on this (if I suggest blackhat, I risk myself to be banned by Google – oops!)

But consider what the webmasters say in consensus: The money lies in the blackhat techniques.

Even successful Internet marketers are resorting to blackhat (or at least, greyhat) to help them grow their business empire.

If you are in doubt regarding blackhat techniques, never get involve in it. It’s clearly not for everyone. There are still plenty opportunities in doing whitehat – all you need to do is to be patience (and hopefully you can secure that investment to build yourself a nice web business.)

I have been reading plenty about people who rant on about how great autoblogs are and how they are earning super money from a single blog, I thought I might as well try this out for myself and see what the hype is about as surely nothing can make so much money without you having to put in at least some work surely? After all its not even your own content your going to make money from is it?

I set  up a free account at BHOU and got myself a autoblog for free which also included the hosting so I wasn’t to bothered if it worked or not, I stormed ahead and built a blog in the music niche and used articles from Ezine  Articles by using a plugin called WProbot which is basically a scrapper that pretty impressive in what it does and certainly does make the blog run on its own if you set it up right, I told mine to update articles every 6hours to keep it “fresh” even though its not my own content, I also research these “money making” plugins and found one with much better reviews called WP-Autoposter and a lot cheaper.

I then used some of the plugins that were installed from All in One SEO, Sitemap generator as well as a couple of twitter and social bookmark plugins so I can have the task of getting the blog indexed so I can start to get traffic from the search engines as every autoblogger claims all autoblogs get 1000s of hits every single day right?

Its been about 4 weeks now and I havent done anything at all apart from the set up and submiting the sitemap.xml to google webmaster tools and google analytics so I can keep a rough track of the traffic, so can you guess how much I have earn’t from this autoblog considering I havent doing link building or promotion?

Well the blog was getting about 20 hits a day on average and from adsense to date the blog had earn’t just over £4 in clicks, I think that’s about $10 or so. So that has made me left thinking, was I lucky or are autoblogs really that good?

Sorry I haven’t posted in short while, I have been quite busy catching up from the Christmas holidays and being a little bit to obsessed with call of duty MW2 so I thought ill do a post on how YOU can earn a bit more from Adsense and make your websites pay for itself.

The steps are quite easy and shouldn’t take long at all but feel free to comment below if you think I have missed something out. Remember this article is a no frills and simply covers the basics:
1. Picking a product Keyword

• Picking a niche that you like is better than picking a niche that has the highest payout, the main reason is that you can quite easily right up a article about a “Bongos” for example but you will easily get bored and if you get bored then your traffic drops. Make sure you pick something that will be of interest to you so you can keep your interest and keep the content fresh.

2. Finding the right long tail keywords

• Long tail keys are also vital to the future of your adsense income – This is when people search for a term i.e. “How to play bongos” so you use your main keyword “bongos” as well as How, Play.

3. Researching your Competition and CPC

• This is where Google can be your friend by taking advantage of Googles keyword tool to check out how many people are searching for a certain keyword and also find out how much a keyword could be worth per click. I tend to only pick keywords that are over a $1 else its just not worth it.

4. Choose a simple and easy to use theme or template.

• Only use simple themes for your blog or website that are easy to use, not cluttered with adverts and defiantly do not have tool bars and popups as this really does affect your traffic.

5. Write about 300-400 words of content on your product

• Write about 3/400 words in a article about your product, try not to go over board as people get bored of the article is to long.

6. Build 20-40 backlinks weekly

• Even though article marketing seems to be slowing down as the market is flooded with low quality articles that have been spun over and over again, you can get some good strong backlinks from Ezine and other article directories. You must make sure not to use the same articles from your website as your site will then have duplicate content. Other options are blog commenting and forum signatures to help build up the backlinks in a timely manner!

That’s pretty much it to setting up your website for adsense

When adsense bans you it can seem like you have been shot in the heart, the world has ended and left wondering why you got banned in the first place. (you sure you didn’t click your ads?)

After doing a bit of research across the webmaster forums I found some tips that may just help you get your website unbanned from adsense but it is a bit of a fuss and palaver to sort it out so it might be better to NOT get yourselves banned in the first place. One myth about being banned from adsense is that the domain is banned for ever and ever, but if fact your quite wrong. Your name, address and personal details are banned so this can mean your domain can get rescued from the Google adsense bin!

So here some tips that can help you get adsense up and running on your website once again, remember no clicking them this time.

1) Incorporate a new company or brand.
2) Write up a invoice of a sale between you and your new company or brand for the “banned” domain that you want to get ads running on again. Get someone who doesn’t have the same name as you to sign the “contract” of the sale.
3) Go get yourself a brand new domain name and set yourself up blog or website and make sure you have at least 5 pages of unique content. If you don’t write your own content get a ghost writer to do something, do not use something you found on the internet as adsense WILL NOT let you have a account.

4) Forward the banned to the new account with your new domain, make sure you have different name on the whois details as Google adsense team do check.

5) Apply to Adsense with your newly registered website and domain as the only one in your profile.

6) Wait for them (Google) to accept you (it can happen in an hour, or it can take up to three days, rarely a week).

7) Once they grant you a adsense account, wait another week and contact them via email to let them know that you bought the domain of someone who had been banned and give them the name of the banned domain or domains. Do not send the invoice of the sale unless they ask for it.
Wait another few days until they get back to you with the go ahead for those domains (this can take a week or longer(rarely).

9) Replace the ad units on the domains with your new ad units under your new business or brand Adsense account.

10) Open a new bank account at a different bank than your personal account is with and wait for the Adsense checks to arrive.

So I hope that will help you to get another adsense account, it looks quite tricky but it really isn’t to be honest, the hardest part is waiting for Google team to get back to you.

Well this ebook that is floating around simply explains on how to get emails and thousands of them, you simply use a decent email harvester and crawl the internet but targeting emails using the keyword of your choice. There is no point  getting as many emails as you can as you will be wasting your time, if you are selling a “Teach a old Dog new Tricks” ebook then is there any point using emails harvested from the keyword “Body Builders”? You need to target your audience the same as you would promote a website or business! (dont email me asking about harvesting tools but look here).

Once you have got all the emails you like you need to start using them for inviting people to your group and this is where Facebook gets interesting, You would think that being the largest social website in the world and on the internet you would think they would have good privacy and spam protection right?

This is where you can abuse a major flaw in the mighty Facebook, Go to your new group and select the “invite more people” and you see a section where you can just cut and paste emails into Facebook and it will then email those emails a invite to your new group. The good thing about using this method is that once your group gets a couple of thousand of people then it will pretty much grow very fast indeed as your new members will keep inviting new members for you. Now just think to yourself how much traffic you can get to your website by just using this method?

I did try doing this myself and I didn’t really have much success to be honest, I found Facebook quite buggy and slow so I did give up quite easy, but I did get the group to about 300members in a few days and then gave up but you may be able to get a very big group!

I get asked quite often how I started in marketing and promoting websites and how many sites do I own to make a income. The truth is  I own far to many websites and most of them I didn’t build myself as I invested in some software that built me a website in about 4minutes. The software isn’t cheap if I am honest but it’s an investment that pays for itself over and over within quite a small period of time.

Sitebuilder Elite is the name of this software and I still use it to this day, I have built well over 200 sites with this product and its made me a pretty good amount of money from Ad sense and Amazon adverts on the websites. The theory behind SBE is that you can have one website earning about £1 a day just from adsense, but if you have 20websites earning a £1 a day then you start to £20 daily very fast, lets not forget I’m just using Adsense for example but you can use Clickbank, Amazon and eBay affiliate as well as some others that I didn’t use. Take my word, if you want to knock out websites with having the knowledge then this software is the best on the Internet to this date and has been for over a year since I have been using it. This is a rather crafty method that could be used for making money. What it’s based on is that you make a webpage saying that you’re giving away, for example, a 42 inch television because you’ve “just bought a new 50 inch television”. You say that you want to give it away to a good cause so you ask people to fill in their Name, Reason why they deserve to win, E-Mail Address and then a submit button. However, the E-Mail Address and the submit button will be simply an iframe from a CPA Offer – An E-Mail Submit offer. This means that they’ll fill in the details thinking they’re entering a competition when they’re filling in their E-Mail Address and submitting it. The minute they submit, you’ve got your £1 – £2 commission and you no longer care about them. To do this though, you’ve got to blend in the submit form with your webpage. You will learn how to do that.

Step 1 – Signup to a good affiliate program. The best one to use for this method is Affiliateer. Once you’ve signed up, you’ll need to find a good affiliate which pays just based on the E-Mail Address submit and not after extra information submits afterwards. These normally pay around £1 to £2.

Step 2 – You have a decision to make now. The first thing you could do is to make your competition a “personal” competition. You could setup a free hosting with a free domain (Deliberately, don’t use a paid domain) and you could say that you’re one person just running a competition and you’ve “setup this webpage just to store the entries easier”. The second thing you could do is to make your competition a “business” competition. If you’re running an online business, you could run a professional competition that you’re giving away great prizes for visiting your website. This will increase traffic, also!

Step 3 – If you’ve decided on the personal competition, you need to make a small webpage with form fields Name and Reason why you want to win.  Youo can get free domains and hosting very quickly indeed the building and playing with iframes I will leave for you to work out.

Step 4 – The only problem left is the fact that you’ve got to get the CPA offer to fit perfectly with the design, and to only show the E-Mail Address and submit button and not the rest of the page. This is why you’ll need to mess around with the values of the iframe to get it working. An easier solution can be found in the tips for this method.

Step 5 – Once your submit page has done and seems to be all working, you can start to promote it. If you’re using the business competition, this should be really easy because you can make Press Releases and blog posts and forum posts all about the competition. If you’re using the personal competition, this may be slightly trickier. You could do newspaper advertisements, Craigslist submissions, forum posts etc… The list is endless, just try it out and see what works.

Use a software called GodCPA. This makes the whole process of making it a LOT quicker, because it creates it all for you. You could purchase the software, or you could find a warez version of it. *cough* A simple search on Google will help you find one. *cough* · If you use GodCPA, you can make the submit button take the visitor to another page. On this page, you could put something like “Sorry, but the details weren’t submitted correctly. Please submit again.” And on that page, you could put a DIFFERENT CPA E-Mail Submit offer on there. That way, you get paid for two offers by one person. Now, it’s time to work on another method.

This is a short post and rather rushed but I thought Ill post anyway as I have been rather slack for the last couple of weeks with moving hosts,  designing a new website for a client and  saving this blog from hackers……………… Apologies once again!

I found a fantastic tool that I think can and will help you improve your “niche” or help you decide on your first money earning website!

Firstly I have found this great download, it basically is a excel report with about 700k keywords that you can use to start a “niche website ” that should start to earn you money. I must admit I have only promoted and designed websites that are around the “webmaster” niche, but after finding this list I might start a few websites on some rare keywords and see how it goes!

The guy who did this report is Dan Abbamont! Check his own blog, it seems pretty new the same as his “gimme a nice” website, The website is pretty simple, all you do is enter how much you would like a keyword to be worth, the website simply scraps Google and then gives you a quick idea of a keyword and how much it could be worth and how many searches a month the keyword gets!
