Choosing The Best Directory Submission Software

You recognize that to get your internet site higher-ranking on organic searches, you require to build backlinks to your internet site. There’s no easier method to build these backlinks than employing a directory submission software. Directory submitters have accumulated the top directories over the internet and imparted them to an easy to apply software that will submit your internet site to these directories. This can possibly save you 100s of hours of submission time, providing you to concentrate your efforts on other link building techniques. However, there are various directory submitters on the market, how do you select the best one?

Number of directories

This is a perceptible feature you want to look at. How many directories does the software submit your site to? The best software will be the one that’s a high number of directories. Presently, the best submitters are submitting to about 3000 directories.

Features

The additional features that accompany the program are another big affair you should consider. Does the program bear an auto mode, does it have an electronic mail validater inbuilt, and does it have submission history, how about multiple descriptions and title per internet site? It’s ever nice to have a submission report you can download and maintain for your records. The top directory submitters ought to have this feature. These are all important things you require to consider in order to make certain the program you get is the most effective and preserves you as much time as possible.

Directory Submission Software – Why Use It?

The SEs are acquiring at a rapid speed, hence SEO is becoming progressively hard. Search engine optimization specialists face the massive challenge of attempting to keep up with the dynamic landscape of the search engines. Even though some traffic generating techniques are no more effective, one tested technique of getting more traffic is by delivering lots of quality, one-way links pointing to your internet site. This method will most probably be a stable and essential optimization step for years to come.

You can get one-way links to your internet site using several different techniques; however submitting to directories is one of the easiest and cheapest. One reason why directory submission is significant is since they’re edited by humans, consequently search engines anticipate these directories to sustain the value of online sites in their SE results. Submitting to directories is also an expert strategy for marketers to get their internet site indexed fast.

Submission to most directories is free of cost, but it’s an arduous task and time-consuming which needs serious patience. Submission to all directories will take minimum couple f minutes if not longer, so the idea of being forced to submit to 100s of directories can be quite discouraging. Directory submission software is surely a less time-consuming and viable option to manual submission and is now being used by hundreds of SEO specialists. The old saying, “time is money” is more applicable, particularly for online marketers in an age of uttermost competition. Any time-saving techniques or tools are surely beneficial and welcomed.

Most SEO specialists acknowledge that directory submission is a key step in ascertaining that a well-built, extremely optimized internet site will enjoy lots of visitors. Submitting to directories is long and boring, but there are a number of cheap directory submitting programs and services that perform well and will preserve you lots of valuable time.

RankChecker: The Fastest Fake PageRank Checker (and More)

If you are into domaining (domain investing) or interested in getting a big picture on your (or your competitor’s) sites, you might want to check this fake PageRank checker tool.

Okay – I admit it; Google PageRank is overrated. One reason: It’s Google’s. Yahoo, Bing and other search engines ignore PageRank, despite all measure a site rank-worthiness using some kind of (secret) algorithms – thus your site ranking can be widely vary from one search engine to another.

Nevertheless, if you are doing domaining, optimise for Google, and doing some investigation on your competitor’s sites, this tool can help you with a big picture.

Check out this free SEO tool: RankChecker.com. The owner claimed that it is the fastest PageRank (and backlink) checker tool on the planet – so I’m curious and will give it a try.

free fake pagerank checker

Blimey! I check it on My Site Ranked and before I blink my eyes, the results are in – with a concise PageRank validity report, traffic report, backlink report, DMOZ/Yahoo directory listing, and domain age report. Fast and accurate; pretty neat, considering the widely available fake PageRank checker tools today share these 2 criteria: They are either broken or slow.

The owner said that it will be updated with more report to help you better analyse a domain name. So, rest assured, this fake PageRank checker tool can be a nice tool to help you in any of your SEO/link building endeavours.

The Best Whitehat One-Way Backlink Builder Tool: SEOLinkVine vs. LinkVana

For you who have manually SEO and build links your sites, you might find that SEO and link building take loads of your time and money. If you own a site, this might not be a major problem for you. But what if you run a network of websites? SEO and link building are headaches.

The most common alternative you want to do go is to hire SEO specialists and link builders. The problem is, this alternative is expensive, ranging from hundreds of dollars to thousands of dollars on monthly basis. Alternatively, you can use tools to help you do SEO and link building semi-manually to leverage your time and money.

You could hire freelancers on webmaster forums, but despite the services seem affordable, if not cheap, the quality is rarely in the “good enough” zone. Moreover, hiring freelancers to run SEO and link building campaigns on large number of sites can be expensive, eventually.

Directory submissions, RSS Feed submissions, paid reviews, text link ads, banner ads, etc. – all whitehat one-way backlinking methods can wear you out and burn you down, eventually.

However, there’s a great solution: Self-service or semi-automated SEO and link building services, available usually for directory submissions and article marketing activities.

Many consider article marketing as the most effective way of building links to get your sites to rank better on search engine result pages. For you who fave article marketing above all other SEO and link building strategies, you might want to consider these white-hat SEO services: SEOLinkVine and LinkVana.

I have got my hands dirty with both and here are my reviews:

SEOLinkVine

seolinkvineSEOLinkVine is basically an online system that allowing you to post your articles to the system and let the system handles your article distribution. Unlike many article submission tools available today, your articles will be posted on quality blogs. So yes, SEOLinkVine is essentially an article marketing system.

The blogs to where the system posts your articles to are not actually owned by SEOLinkVine. Those blogs are submitted into the system, and will need to meet a certain criteria (e.g. no splogs or spam blogs) to ensure the quality of the network.

The above means that if you are not interested in article marketing but are interested in getting your blogs filled with quality, unique content instead, you can join the network for free. The articles will be posted to your blog via XML-RPC – so yes, your blogs should be XML-RPC-ready (WordPress blogs are XML-RPC-ready.) It’s a win-win situation, really.

Pros:

  • You can use markings, i.e. { variation 1 | variation 2 | variation 3 }, to make an article to have many unique variations (a.k.a. “spinnable”) – you only need to submit one article with markings and the system will take care the distribution.
  • Your links are of course “dofollow”, with a big upside – the anchor texts are “spinnable.”
  • Analytics to monitor the progress of your sites ranking on search engines on your targeted keywords.
  • Affordable pricing of $50 / month.

Cons:

  • Despite being monitored, members’ blogs quality can be less than what you expect.
  • You can’t really control backlink quality – you could get links from blogs with PageRank 0 or with the same IP address, resulting in reduced link values.
  • Limited customization allowed in article posting frequencies and such.

I can get on average 10 published article variations for each article – quite good, could be definitely more if I outsource the article writing to good writers. If I submit 50 unique articles/month (with 2 outbound links each,) along with many variations for each article to the systems, I could get about 50 x 2 x 10 = 1,000 back links – not bad at all for few hours of work.

LinkVana

LinkVanaSimilar to SEOLinkVine, LinkVana is an article marketing system that publishes your articles to quality blogs. So not much to mention differently here, except one major difference: The blogs to which your article is posted is LinkVana’s – so, your backlink quality can be assured.

Unlike SEOLinkVine’s “spinnable” articles, LinkVana takes snippets from each of your unique content automatically – so no markings needed.

Pros:

  • All blogs are LinkVana-owned and guaranteed to have PageRank 2 to PageRank 5, aged and have 1000s of inbound links on each – so quality is out of question.
  • Huge blog network that grows 50-100 blogs each month.
  • You are guaranteed to get backlinks from different class C IP address.
  • You can control posting frequency and other options.

Cons:

  • Pricing is a bit turn-off: $147 / month (25% discount of $197 /month for the first 300 members.)
  • The system uses snippets, not markings – so if you want more variations on a single article, you might need a help of quality article rewriter tool, such as Magic Article Rewriter.

And the winner is…

For me: SEOLinkVine! $50 a month for unlimited submissions of articles and article variations are just the best fit to my budget. Also, I do need the analytic feature they offer.

However, if quality is your number one concern, you should go to LinkVana, instead – incoming backlinks are of higher quality, and for the long term, this is probably better; $147 / month is well worth it!

XRumer – The Weapon of Mass Destruction?

XRumer, blackhat SEO tool in nature, can help a site rank better in search engines. What it does is actually post (a.k.a. blast) your site to Forums, Blogs and any web properties you can think of.

Despite it is proven to be able to boost your search engine rankings, there are some pitfalls you CAN actually avoid, such as Google ban, web hosting account suspension, etc.

Now, have you ever think to use Xrumer to get your competitors getting banned by Google? Hmm… *eeevil*

First of all, read this FAQ from one of XRumer service sites regarding Google ban:

Will Google Ban Me?

If by using xrumer you could get a site banned from Google, then competitors would xrumer away to get there competition banned, So the answer to this myth is certainly not.

However new, unestablished sites without existing backlinks or PR can get sandboxed by Google, But again by doing a little manual work and gaining some quality High PR links to your site will get your site out of Google sandbox.

Well, it seems that XRumer won’t get your competitors’ site banned from Google, or is it?

Behold – the weapon of mass destruction

Well, here’s an almost unanimous conclusion: Google knows when you do excessive linking in a short period of time – this is why many SEO people suggest for us to do link building on regular and ongoing basis, not a one-time bulk linking and months of non-existent link building. The aftermath: Your site can be sandboxed and/or have your backlinks’ value decreased considerably.

Now, many survive the Google ban, and like what is mentioned in the FAQ above, even if your site sandboxed, you can get your site out relatively easy.

However, here’s a real life story: A client of mine tell me that his friend’s site is getting ‘killed’ by one of its competitors, allegedly using XRumer software. The site’s backlink is growing enormously with unrelated and questionable originating sites (a finance site is getting links from a drag racing site, for example?)

The results so far: The site’s once top 10 in its target keyword now has dropped to page 2 for the same keyword – this is also happen to the overall site rankings in multiple keyword phrases – devastating, indeed.

So, is XRumer cool?

To some, yes. Many resent using such tools and prefer whitehat SEO methods, but again, we must see this case by case.

Using XRumer blasts sparingly could keep your site under the radar. All in all, try at your own risk :)

Mobile Blogging on the move with a Blackberry or Iphone app for wordpress

Sometimes it can be a pain to get the time to submit to your blog, as you may have noticed I haven’t updated this blog for a couple of weeks as I have been quite busy so I apologise for that one.

Anyway I thought I would have a Google to see if there was anything that I could use for mobile blogging during those busy times and after a search I found a fantastic app for my Blackberry Bold 9000 that allows me to write my articles on the move, I don’t need a pc or laptop at all so this for me is fantastic indeed. I only know of the WordPress app for mobiles so sorry to those who use any other format of blogging like drupal or Blogger but I will have a proper look in the future and update you if I find any other app so you can also blog on the move.

The wordpress app is very small and you will hardly notice that it is on your mobile phone at all, and the best of all is that is free to download and use and I have yet to find a fault with it at all, in-fact this article was written with my Blackberry while on a lunch break so you can see its very easy. On the Blackberry wordpress app you can accept your blog comments as well as delete the spam, edit comments or anything that you can do with a laptop just on a smaller screen and the Iphone app seems to do just the same, although I haven’t tested the Iphone version but I couldn’t see it being to much different from the blackberry app at all.

You can download the wordpress app for your blackberry or iphones on the links below:

Please do comment and let me know how you get on with it!

How to gain followers on Twitter while loosing the wastefull nonfollowers

I have given in and decide that I would give in and give  Twitter a chance and see what all the fuss is about. The truth is I did try it a long time ago but didn’t really understand it at all, I still don’t but I do know that it can drive alot of traffic your way indeed.

When I joined to Twitter I got bored with it shortly after joining up, So I started some research………….

I found out the best way and defiantly the fastest way is to use a mass follower tool or script that you simply put in your user name and password and a keyword for your targeted niche. This will then scan Twitter for people to follow and the idea behind this is that you follow as many people as you can and they will then follow you in return, this means every time you “tweet” you have posted to a large audience in one go. (That’s the theory but read on)

I have only found one Twitter tool that I like and I have uploaded here for you. Its a very basic tool but its small and does the job perfect and its not full of crappy spyware. You simply load it up and put your username, password and keyword and leave it to do its stuff and once its done you will see a list of the people you are now following.

So imagine, you have used the tool and following 5k people but you notice after a while out of those your following you only have 1k people following you. ( In my eyes they are a waste and disposable).

Nothing worse than seeing a Twitter account who follows but doesn’t really get followed as it is quite blatant its a spam account so people wont want to follow you!

I have the solution but you will need to use firefox for this to work and you will need to install a plugin called greasemonkey and once you have installed GreaseMonkey you will a script that you will load into greasemonkey and you can get that HERE once you have installed jump to your Twitter account. Once on your twitter account you need to click your following lists(top right) and then look for the little monkey logo in your firefox browser which should be on the bottom left and then right click and choose “Twitter Remove Non-Followers!. This wont show up if you are not on your following list!

Now your ready to get rid of the non return followers and punish them for not sharing the tweeting love.

Now you should be on your following list you should see that some of the twitter accounts are greyed out and these are the ones that are not following back and you simply scroll down and hit the “remove marked”  and then just work your way though them. I have found the best way of doing this it to use the following tool and add say a 1000 accounts and then wait for a few days, then use the grease monkey script to delete non followers. I wouldn’t just add thousands at a time as it will take you ages to delete the non followers.

I hope this helps you out with getting traffic to your website in a couple of days I got a twitter account with over 600 followers so it does work, Ill keep doing it till I hit a few thousand!

So Xmas is tomorrow and January in a few sleeps

Just a brief one to be honest, but I thought I would do a post just to say Thank You to everyone who has supported myself and this blog since the launch a few months back.

I hope you all have a great christmas with your friends and family and are looking forward to a brand new year in 2010. I wont be online much till around January  4th 2010 but I will be back and updating the blog as soon as I get back.I have a few things I will be blogging about on some great ways to earn money and drive traffic to your websites or blogs.

Enjoy the christmas holidays

Dan

Why have one website then you can have hundreds

I get asked quite often how I started in marketing and promoting websites and how many sites do I own to make a income. The truth is  I own far to many websites and most of them I didn’t build myself as I invested in some software that built me a website in about 4minutes. The software isn’t cheap if I am honest but it’s an investment that pays for itself over and over within quite a small period of time.

Sitebuilder Elite is the name of this software and I still use it to this day, I have built well over 200 sites with this product and its made me a pretty good amount of money from Ad sense and Amazon adverts on the websites. The theory behind SBE is that you can have one website earning about £1 a day just from adsense, but if you have 20websites earning a £1 a day then you start to £20 daily very fast, lets not forget I’m just using Adsense for example but you can use Clickbank, Amazon and eBay affiliate as well as some others that I didn’t use. If you add them all up then you are onto a right winner….Trust me it works!

SBE is so simple to use, you download it from the main website and install to a folder on your pc or mac then upload about 4 folders to your server via ftp and then point to yourdomain.com/files/install.php and follow the instructions to setting up the website using keywords of your choice. Once you have built the website you simply grab some articles on your niche or write your own and simply market it as much as you can to get the traffic flowing and in turn your traffic turns into money.

If you are like me and pretty busy then really do get this software, you can easily make 10 high quality websites a day of you really wanted to. This day and age you don’t need to pay for a domain or hosting so after your investment of SBE you simply keep the profits. Gary Nugent is the brains behind the software and he often sends out updates for the software i.e. you can post to twitter, have youtube videos, grab content from the Internet like articles, you can have privacy pages and terms and conditions which as we all know Google loves. It also gives each website a footprint so the search engines don’t know it’s a generated website.

Have a look at a sample website here.

Take my word, if you want to knock out websites with having the knowledge then this software is the best on the Internet to this date and has been for over a year since I have been using it. The good thing is Gary made a update so you can even sell the website without having to risk your investment. I would suggest buy it and use it to get your new sites listed and earning then jump to a few website master forums and sell the site, you would get at least £20 minimum with a indexed website so you can really make some good money on SBE

I think you can understand what a exciting investment this software is

Forum about SEO and Marketing

After looking around the internet I have noticed you get blackhat forums, which to be honest just seem to turn into filesharing forums and people boasting/claiming they have just brought a new house with the money they have earnt from a single blast of xrumer when promoting some crappy product. On the other hand you get webmaster forums which only promote using whitehat methods of search engine optimization or marketing. I myself find this boring very boring!

A friend asked me to help him out with a SEO forum, The forum is pretty simple and just using simplemachineforum software(smf) but might upgrade to vbulletin in the near future when the member and post counts get alot higher. We do aim for the forum to be slightly different where SEO and marketers new and old can learn from each other, without having that crappy “IM A EXPERT” response.

Using forums to promote a website or blog can do magic for your traffic, as long as you dont it to death and get yourself banned.

We have decided not to really have any rules, except the normal stuff….No porn, drugs blah blah or blatent spamming. I find getting post counts up and good karma/respect gets people to want to vist your website and maybe link to it, its better to have ten people looking at your site for a few minutes rather than 100 just clicking off after a second.

The forum also has a market place so you can trade and also be able to leave feedback, we dont have a post count or citeria that you need to hit before posting in the market place but this may change once the forum gets bigger.

Anyway have a look and join up and join the SEO community and either learn or teach others, doesnt matter what “hat” you decide to wear your always welcome.

Sorry for lack of posts but moving host and fighting hackers

Sorry for the lack of posts at the moment, Maybe some of you might have noticed that the site has been buggy and slow to view!

Basically some people were getting divert to a Chinese website or another blog?

The blog got hacked and we take out hats off to the person that done it, they done a good job and very well hidden coding. BUT I found out the problem and traced it to the hacker as well play a few games myself.!

Anyway Im moving the site over the next few days.
